WebAA saved my life and did so much harm. It’s a hard dichotomy to hold and explore, but I keep unpacking it. I was in AA for 8-9 years and I’ve been out for 4 years. I’ve grown so much since leaving, I’ve done incredibly deep trauma healing work in therapy and have so much more clarity as to why substances were my best solution back then. WebAA saved my life. Thank my God for the fellowship and rooms of AA. Congratulations on 2 years, go to a chip meeting and claim your reward, you’re worth it. 2 years is a mighty feat! Remember...staying sober is easier than getting sober. I’m sure you’ll agree, life keeps getting better the longer we’re sober and as long as we remain sober.
